A SAFE EXIT FROM TODAY’S TURBULENCE ZONE
Today’s
era is progressively becoming a dungeon and a place for the fittest. The world
has become a place where virtues are being reduced to the rank of vices. Vices
are being raised and re-baptised with Christian names, so that they appear to
be good; all with the aim of purging out the guilt that follows them. Being a
person of good conduct nowadays is getting exposed to all sorts of persecutions
and tortures. The Church has not been an exception to this disrupting wind, for
many deviances and all sorts of doctrines have not ceased to toss her from
every side. Christians run up and down after fortune tellers who in the name of
some sort of “real true god”, are alleging
to have solutions and openings for a better tomorrow. These
fortune tellers and newly risen charlatans in the name of prophets are sweeping
away many sheep who, do not listen to sound doctrine anymore (2 Timothy 4:3).
Others who are more courageous give in tempting proposals so as to fast-climb
the social ladder; they sell their souls to the devil by accepting devilish
doctrines (1 Timothy 4:1). Believe it or not, our churches today are full of
these people; People who have lost all hope of true and eternal life in Jesus
Christ and are founded on a faith that has no roots and bears no fruits.
Nevertheless,
just like Jesus, who comes in the middle of the raging storm, that was almost submerging
the boat that was fairing the apostles, to calm it and lead the boat to safety
onshore, the Holy Father in the midst of this dumbfounding but ridiculous
situation has stepped into the flame by proposing a safe exit for all who are
caught in the midst of this tornado and are struggling to find their way out. The
magic word and way out is none other than FAITH (F=father, A=almighty, I= in, T=the, H= house).
Rediscovering our faith from its foundation is a better means of getting back
on the right tract and believe it or not it’s second to none. Getting back to
re-feel the assurance of that first day when we first said YES to He who called us and set us on the solid foundation is the
best means of doing away with all doubts and fears which impasse our lives and
hinder us from moving towards its ultimate goal. Yeah faith is a sure exit from today’s turbulence zone into a calm and quiet one.
This is even surer because those who know their God shall be strong and do
exploits (Daniel 11:32) while those who are weak and faithless shall be swept
by all sort of flatteries and will spend their lifetime running behind miracles
and illusions. But what is certain is that miracle and wonders will follow
those who believe and have faith in Jesus Christ (Mark 16:17) for all things
are possible for he who believes (Mark 9:23). The reward for holding on to our
faith in Jesus and braving the Kenny situations that may come our way is not
earthly but heavenly and always remember that only those who would have
remained faithful until the end shall receive the crown that does not fade and shall
be glorified by God.
Father
Almighty In The House! Who can be misled and frighten when the Almighty Father
is around? For sure nobody except he who is not with Him. If the Almighty
Father lives in us (faith), who can be against us? There is no way the devil
and his tricks can snatch faithful believers from the hands of the Most High
God, neither can he lead them astray. Vain words and happenings wouldn’t be
enough to uproot them nor shall they be able to move them, but they shall in
all certainty rejoice, be glad and be of good cheer for the Lord has conquered
the world (John 16:33). When deception and confusion seem to have the lead, a
profession of faith stands as the ultimate solution: “I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth”. A
sincere and truthful profession leads to salvation and God who sees and knows
everyman’s heart shall be unto him a safe and secure refuge from embarrassing
and tremendous situations.
In
a nutshell, have faith in God and believe in his word, obey the teachings the
Holy church gives you and you shall be safe. Faith is just what you need.
